Cheryl started Seale CPA & Company in 2002 and dedicates it to the success of local small businesses. Their diverse client base ranges from engineering firms, defense contractors, medical professionals, electricians, travel agents, contractors, retailers and even farmers. Cheryl thrives on challenges and makes it a priority to stay abreast of industry trends. Her zest for tackling software integration projects tie industry-specific products like inventory control software into QuickBooks or another accounting package.

Cheryl has been from public accounting, into industry, then back to public accounting. She has served as Controller, CFO, and consultant in diverse industries such as medical devices companies, a statewide association, and marketing firms. All of these experiences led her to be a strong advocate for her small-business clients.

Cheryl's mission is to bring order to her client's financials, while training the business owners to properly maintain that order. "That way," she says, "there are no surprises at the end of the year. You know your cash flow, budget, whether there's income or loss. Because that's the dangerous part of being a small business, not knowing where you are at any given time." She also helps her clients remain in compliance with the multitude of tax and reporting requirements faced by businesses large and small, including payroll taxes, franchise taxes, sales tax, income tax, and end-of-year reports.

Cheryl is an active member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the QuickBooks® Professional and Point of Sale Advisors program.

Cheryl lives in North Central Austin with her husband Mike and their dog Lola. She is most proud of her 3 grown children- Marie, Jonathan and Teresa.

Karin has been showing up to Seale CPA at 7:00 every morning for the past 6 years and often says that answering the phone is her favorite daily task- and means it! She is the one who greets all callers with the caring, gentle voice we have all come to love. Interestingly enough, Karin never intended to work for Cheryl. She had just been laid off by Cingular and after working for 15 years was looking for a low key job. In the midst of searching, Cheryl asked Karin to come help her type and file, only for half a day- after all, they had been friends for years. The rest is history.

A former military brat born in Germany, Karin has been almost everywhere in the world except Greece and Arizona. Karin has been married to her high school sweetheart for the past 31 years! They live in Cedar Park with their dogs Scooter & Holly and cat Missy.

Tomas graduated from Texas State University, San Marcos in 2009 with a BBA in Accounting. He successfully passed all 4 CPA exam parts in 2011 and has received his Certified Public Accountant certification. Tom's experience consists of over 4 years in the public accounting field.

Tomas is originally from Lithuania, Eastern Europe and his wife is from Burundi, Central Africa which makes them an odd and at the same time a wonderful couple. He likes fishing, basketball and spending time with his family and friends.

Ivy has 15+ years of bookkeeping experience and has worked in a variety of industries including civil engineering, architecture, consulting firms and large corporations. Ivy worked with Cheryl 12 years ago and recently decided to come back home to Seale CPA.

Ivy is originally from the Caribbean but has made Texas her home for the past 24 years raising both her daughter and son in Texas. She enjoys traveling, shopping, sewing and spending time with friends and family.
